For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved writing and documenting my life in some way, shape, or form. Whether it was within the pages of the self-titled “Lauren’s Lyric Journal” from when I was nine or captured through the lens of my first hot pink Sony Cybershot camera, I just knew I had to try and preserve life around me the way it was.
With navigating life post-grad, I’ve clung to this desire to remember life at every stage just the way it was even more desperately. There’s an endless cycle of lessons learned, places visited, homes lived in, career shifts, and trying to make the most of every new season I go through.
This is just another digital outlet for me to share some insight and honesty about navigating my 20s. One I hope my future self can look back on, as I look back on my elementary self, and thank her for having a childlike wonder to capture the beautiful duality of the world around her.
